Light Shift by San-T Light Shift by San-T
I am lost for words lately.. Struggling with titles and descriptions..
I really enjoyed making this one even though it needed time to sit and be left alone for about a month till I knew what I want to do with it... I have few other pieces sitting and waiting as well..

Acrylic on 18x24" / 46x61 cm on stretched canvas.

Love the composition, the flow, the different line and color emotions going on at the same time  ... struck me as "frozen music".

*NICE*

Is that watered down acrylic you used to get the drips? i just got my first acrylic set so I'm trying to learn and observe techniques.

Yes, some of the drips are watered down acrylic, the black drip is liquid acrylic. I really like this medium for its interaction with water, at times it can appear almost watercolor like while in other, oil paint like, very flexible. If you have any other questions, I'll be glad to help =]

Brilliant work. You really have an eye for the abstract. This one, to me, tells the story of a caterpillar morphing into the butterfly.

WoW! you hardly post for ages them BOOOOOOOM! you smack us around the face with colour.

I an extra imprest buy this one you use of colour is developing into something very special.
As far as im concerned you are easily the most exciting and groundbreaking abstractors on DA.

Your choice to stick with one style of painting and to keep developing it is truly paying off.
To be totally frank with you when i first started watching you i thought wow i love this girl's style but she sure is posting a lot of the same type of thing.
I thought that you have found something you could do well and now you were stuck in your comfort zone.
But you have show me that sticking with one theme and constantly pushing yourself to developing along this line can be extremely rewarding.
This is causing me this totally reconsider my own efforts i tend to do 3 or 4 bits of work in one area focusing on one theme or idea and then move on to something new.
I truly thought this was the best approach to work on a big variety of themes that this would force me to develop faster as an artist.
But you constant progression and developed is forcing me to reconsider the value of focusing in of one area and to not stop until you really master it.

keep up the good work i look forward to seeing more soon :D

Thank you so much for your comment, you really made my day ^^

I have the tendency to overdo things till I'm tired of them and then I move on to something else, really exhaust all the possibilities.. It really does help in the learning process =]

This is really lovely! I love that dynamic black, and the organic shaped blobs in the colours make it really feel alive. Very nice.
