Acrylic, ink and silver marker on 16x20" / 40x50 cm stretched canvas.
Plastic, metal, gems, newspaper gesso, modeling paste...

I really enjoyed building up the texture with the newspaper..
It all started with the realization that by mixing navy blue and chocolate brown, I got a very pleasing shade of purple.. But I somehow lost it along the way as I was adding other colors..

a splendid work - well done... :D

may i utter a point of criticism? when i look at the red circle top right, it's obvious, that it's not same way round as the blue circle... like a teacher at my art scool once put it: "don't let them smell the rat..." haha, if there is a circle, it should be a circle... :D

Thank you, and you are completely right... Having said that I think it's great that it slipped my attention... Sometimes I tend to make everything way too "perfect", connecting all the open curves can often complete perfectly round circles... and.. often makes the painting too controlled xD
